Junior Java Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Java Developer for an expanding, dynamic company in central Telford

Experience: Computer science graduate or equivalent experience.

We are looking to recruit a number of junior Java developers to join a specialist supplier of software and services to the Membership sector. Successful applicants will become a member of our existing multi-disciplinary technical team.
Attitude is almost as important as the technical needs of the role.
A passion for technology is key, as is a positive and enthusiastic nature.

Skills Required
Applicants should be able to demonstrate understanding and experience of the following

Specific
• Object Oriented Programming
• HTML

General
• Willing to learn new programming languages and technologies.
• Able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Highly motivated.

Beneficial Experience
Because of the varying nature of the projects it is not expected that applicants have detailed knowledge of all technologies, however a general knowledge or experience with the following would be beneficial.
• Java
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• SQL databases

Salary: Depends on experience, ranging from £16,000 to £20,000 per annum + bonus
