Quality Auditor

Job Description

We are looking for experienced and qualified Quality Auditors for a Telford manufacturing company.


The position is on 4 on 4 off, days and nights, 12 hour rotating shifts.


Please advise what salary you would be looking for the role.


The Quality Auditor will be responsible for the monitoring of the product quality in line with the product quality plan.


Responsibilities:
• Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
• Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
• Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
• Carry our relevant checks on assigned products as required by the product quality plan.
• Record and segregate all product scrap generated from within quality control.
• Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
• Record all required information for all operations as per company works instructions/procedures.
• Alert relevant people to process and product concerns promptly.
• Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the business needs and the training plan.
• Safeguard property issued by the company.
• Ensure workplace is clean and tidy – all housekeeping procedures followed associated with tasks.
• Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others).


Skills:
• Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to use a PC to an operational level.
• Good communication skills.


Other requirements:
• 3 current years’ experience in this role or a similar role
• Able to work 7.00 to 7.00 (days/nights) on a 4 On and 4 Off alternating Shift System. (i.e. 11 paid hours per shift), rotating between days and nights every two weeks
• A Manufacturing background.
• a Quality Qualification / training, ranging from Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 & AS 9100, through to major quality improvement initiatives, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Process Mapping, Six Sigma, etc. Accredited by Chartered Quality Institute - CQI Diploma and certificates. But they can also come from different sources and providers.
